Sensitive renovation of a 1960s ranch within the Cape Cod National Seashore boundary. National Park Service review required preservation of the home's footprint and roofline. Interior was fully modernized: new kitchen, two updated bathrooms, refinished hardwood floors, and a new primary suite added within the existing envelope.
Energy upgrades include new insulation, heat pump, and storm-rated windows. The exterior was refreshed with cedar shingles and painted trim that complies with NPS color guidelines.
Working within the National Seashore adds a layer of review that most builders avoid. We embrace it — the regulatory framework protects the landscape that makes these properties so special.
